Why can't I attract a female?

I have recently been through a terrible break-up. My ex is out sleeping with several people. Yet I have no sort of luck. I don't really want to get laid. Just looking for a female counterpart to fill the void, someone to text and chat with, that I can be close with, someone to share personal things with. Not to be arrogant but I have a lot going for me from a females point of view (good looking, successful financially, popular, hold a celebrity type roll as musician, caring, nice, respectful, polite and patient), a quite deal more than most of the females I've attempted to attract. Yet still I have no luck doing so. The last 3 girls that showed an interest in me all had boyfriends who I was already friends with. What the hell is going on here got any ideas?
