How to distribute my demo cd?

Hello guys, I am an indie musician, I've been recording for about 2 years. I've made about 5 demos but none of them have really been what I was pleased with so I ended up scrapping them. But I'm working on one right now that i feel definitely makes me happy. How do I distribute this? Any creative ideas for getting people to hear my music? I am NOT trying to get a record deal, just trying to stay an independent artist and save up money to eventually record records myself. Thanks!
