I'm a 17 year old girl. I don't think that's weird at all. You sound like a cool kind of guy. I'd never think a guy was a fag for something like that. I assure you, the majority of guys may give you crap for it, but the majority of girls (which are obviously the ones who matter) won't even mind at all.
