Can i live in my van for free in key west florida?

I'm a jazz musician in my fifties now and I'm craving the sun. I usually stay in mexico and play there six months a year but it has become dangerous and tourism is low. So I'm thinking about heading for Key West this fall. I have a Roadtrek (an rv conversion van with everything, including a bathroom) but from what I have learned rv parks there are very high in fees. What is a bohemian to do?
