Is it normal to actually feel your brain hit your skull in a concussion?

I had a concussion during rugby today, and im not sure if i blacked out because i dont remember anything except one part... it was all black and i wasnt thinking at all... but it felt like my brain was rapidly smacking the front and back of my skull, it also felt like my tongue was doing the same thing. Basically i just wanted to know if this was normal, also it was not painful, it just felt really really weird.
